4. How can the software certification process be improved?

To improve the software development process while meeting the objectives of certification standards, several avenues can be, and in some cases already are, considered, notably model-driven engineering, and continuous integration, which is gradually leading us towards a more agile approach.

4.1 Model-driven engineering
