2. General information on fluorination processes

  • Unlike chlorine derivatives, which are essentially obtained by chlorination reactions with chlorine (substitution of a hydrogen atom or addition to a compound with a double or triple bond CCC ), fluorine derivatives can only exceptionally be manufactured from elemental fluorine.
