6. Various fluoridation methods
Apart from the major fluorination processes discussed above, there are many other methods and reagents for introducing a fluorine atom into a molecule. Some of these techniques have found industrial applications (preparation of aromatic fluorinated products by the diazotization method), but most are merely laboratory methods which could nevertheless be of interest for the preparation of particularly complex compounds, used for example in the pharmaceutical field.
