1. Rinse vocations

At first sight, it may seem trivial to consider the phenomenology of rinsing in a surface treatment operation. However, when we take a step back, we realize that this operation, when not properly controlled, accounts for almost half of all malfunctions, which are the subject of disputes, whether or not subject to expert appraisal.

  • This is the case, for example, with the deferred stripping of an electrolytic nickel coating applied to a steel part shown in figure 1 .
