2. Natural occurrences of gallium

Gallium's behavior in nature is determined by its chemical properties. Its immediate neighbors in the periodic table are aluminum, zinc and germanium, with which it is commonly associated. If we consider its ionic radius, it is placed between those of aluminum and iron (see table 2 ). Consequently, in geochemical processes, Ga is closely related to Al, and to Fe.
