How can you tell if you have liver damage?

Liver damage affects biochemical parameters in the blood. It is also visible on histological examination of the liver.

Toxic liver damage leads to a marked increase in hepatic biomarkers in the blood, as well as changes in the structure of the liver, visible on histological examination.

Chronic exposure to a hepatotoxic xenobiotic can lead to degenerative and proliferative changes, resulting in liver cancer.

How are the results of liver damage reflected in the SDS?
