Process
A set of interrelated or interacting activities that uses inputs to produce a desired result.
Note 1: The designation of the "expected result" of a process by output element, product or service, depends on the context of the reference.
Note 2: The input elements of one process are generally the output elements of other processes, and the output elements of one process are generally the input elements of other processes.
Note 3: Two or more processes, correlated and interacting in series, can also be described as processes.
Note 4: An organization's processes are generally planned and implemented under controlled conditions in order to add value.
