1. Determine the frequency and severity of risks

Risks were identified by taking into account the control elements of your processes (see Analyzing the risks associated with your processes [FIC 0580] ).

For each risk, ask yourself the following questions.

1.1 How often might a failure occur?

Use the following criteria to assess frequency of occurrence:
