4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't neglect to monitor outsourced processes that are imposed on you or for which you lack the necessary skills.

If you are part of a group, certain activities or processes may be taxed. This does not exempt you from measuring and monitoring them. Even if you can't change your service provider at the end of the contract, this will at least enable you to identify their weaknesses and ensure that they improve, or to compensate for their shortcomings by anticipating your supplies.

If you don't have sufficient expertise to verify the supplier's suitability, don't hesitate to call on independent experts.
