7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't dematerialize communication

A totally paperless system should enable the quality manager to effectively manage a multitude of actions from his or her desk. However, one of the pillars of quality management remains the involvement of all concerned, so it is essential to maintain communication, meetings and working groups. It would be unrealistic to believe that simply distributing a document digitally is enough for it to be integrated and applied immediately in the laboratory.
