2. Moderating the meeting

Facilitating a meeting requires certain personal qualities such as assertiveness (in short, the ability to say no and impose one's choices while respecting others), empathy and leadership. But then again, a well-prepared meeting is always easier to run.

A meeting is divided into several phases: introduction, progress and conclusion. At any time during the meeting, participants must be able to situate themselves in these phases. This is why the theme, objective, plan and duration of the meeting must be posted. In this way, everyone can keep track of the chronology of the meeting and estimate the time remaining.
