INTRODUCTION
Against a backdrop of change, propelled by ANNEX SL, the automotive quality management system standard ISO/TS 16949:2009 is disappearing (the validity deadline for certificates was September 14, 2018). It will be replaced by IATF 16949, whose document title is: "Quality management system standard for the automotive sector".
Automotive equipment manufacturers are involved in the manufacture of a vehicle: powertrain, lighting, braking, ignition, seats, bodywork and so on. The standard applies to the OEM and the entire supply chain. Tier 1 OEMs are those with direct contractual relationships with vehicle manufacturers. It should be noted that the requirements apply to the entire automotive industry supply chain for the manufacture of series and replacement parts, as well as accessories.
