1. Understanding the EFQM framework
Since its creation, the EFQM model has been based on the best practices of companies and organizations, whether they are partners of the European Foundation or simply users of the framework. These best practices have been analyzed by the foundation, then grouped into criteria and sub-criteria of excellence (the reference framework is regularly updated to take account of new best practices identified). Upstream, each of the eight fundamental concepts is also broken down into examples of good practice expressed in the form of a verb and a complement. And each list of examples is introduced by the same sentence: "In practice, excellent organizations...".
