3. Maintain and improve your SMSDA

The solidity and benefits of the approach will be sustained over time, if certain conditions are met, such as :

• update the initial information, the PRPo and the HACCP Plan whenever changes or modifications are made (§ 7.7);

• planning audits (§ 7.8), performing audits, evaluating, reporting and analyzing results (§ 8.4.2 and 8.4.3);

• conduct internal audits (§ 8.4.1);

• conduct SMSDA management reviews (§ 5.8) ;

• evaluate and update the SMSDA (§ 8.5.2).
