4. Our advice

4.1 Combine quality and food safety

Although any organization can be ISO 22000 certified without being ISO 9001 certified, we advise you to build an integrated internal approach to quality and food safety. The provisions for meeting similar requirements (non-conformity declarations, inspection records, actions, etc.) should simply make it easy to identify those that have an impact on SDA. Both issues are present on a daily basis at all levels.
