2. How to meet the main requirements of ISO/CEI 17025 concerning equipment, traceability of reference materials, validation of calibration or test methods and estimation of measurement uncertainties?

The laboratory must have :

• a record of all measuring equipment (devices or instruments) and associated software that have an influence on the accuracy and precision of the measurements taken;

• metrological traceability to reference materials;

• procedures for calibration and metrological verification of measuring equipment;

• instructions for validating measurement methods ;

• methods for estimating measurement uncertainties.
