3. Implement design changes

Implementing the modifications selected in the previous step involves planning the design resources needed to analyze and technically define the requested modifications.

Depending on the size of your company and the nature of the products, projects or services designed, dedicated or permanent teams are assigned to design activities and modification processing.

In both cases, a frequent difficulty arises from the fact that the teams in charge of the modifications may be different, at least in part, from those who participated in the initial design, and therefore obliged to re-investigate the subject in depth, in order in particular to ensure the continuity and functional integrity of the product or service affected by the modification(s).
