5. Implement RADAR logic and ensure key elements of excellence
The previous steps consisted in putting in place the key elements of EFQM excellence in the organization: sustainable development as part of the corporate project, links between this project and operational aspects, all facilitated by open leadership.
As the model is based on a permanent loop between strategy, actions and results, it requires a powerful evaluation (or self-assessment) tool. Its acronym is RADAR, for Results/Approaches/Deploy/Assess & Refine. This tool, not unlike Deming's PDCA, analyses both approaches (criteria 1 to 5) and results (criteria 6 to 9).
The final step is therefore to implement the RADAR, which consolidates the entire approach, and to ensure that the fundamental concepts of EFQM are integrated into :
