6.1 Refer to reference standards, which are not requirements but recommendations.

  • ISO 9004: Quality management — Quality of an organization — Guidelines for achieving sustainable performance. This text presents the eight recommendations for achieving "sustainable performance", which are quite similar to the EFQM concepts or criteria.

  • ISO 26000: Guidelines on social responsibility. The only standard on CSR, this text details the principles, fundamental practices and central issues of social responsibility. It is compatible with international texts (UN, OECD, ILO, etc.).
