INTRODUCTION
Once the application procedure has been completed, a Seveso-classified facility is issued with an "arrêté préfectoral d'autorisation d'exploiter".
This decree includes operating requirements relating to plant operating conditions, means of response in the event of an incident, and means of analysis and control.
The site operator must ensure compliance with these requirements.
Checking the conformity of an installation can be carried out as part of a recolement plan required by the prefectoral decree, or carried out spontaneously to verify the conformity of installations.
