1. Identify your classification
Annexes 1, 2 and 3 of article R. 511.9 of the French Environment Code list the headings and their classification as follows:
A : authorization ;
E : registration ;
D: declaration (with a DC classification sub-scheme: declaration with periodic inspection).
To check whether an activity falls under an ICPE classification, you first need a certain amount of data to be able to navigate the nomenclature.
