INTRODUCTION
Since the imperial decree of 1810, the nomenclature has undergone a number of changes designed to prevent and adapt to industrial risks.
Thus, the ICPE nomenclature is the gateway to the system of classified installations. Over time, modifications to the nomenclature, through the addition or deletion of new headings or changes to thresholds, have always been a significant element in the life of the industrial world.
In the course of these developments, three classification regimes (D, E, AE) and one classification sub-regime (DC) have been distinguished:
