INTRODUCTION
While the declaration system has existed since 1917, the declaration system with periodic inspection is more recent, having been introduced in 2006.
This system was created to prevent certain categories of facilities subject to declaration from escaping any control, due to the lack of control by the Inspection des Installations Classées.
There are many points of convergence between the D and DC plans, but the differences mainly concern control.
