In practice, operating an IPPC plant means carrying out an operating review every ten years. This assessment is an opportunity for the authorities to carry out a periodic review of the plant's authorization conditions, as required by the IPPC Directive.
It provides additions and updates since the previous impact study, and includes the following elements:
an analysis of plant operation over the past ten-year period, based on available data;
elements that complete and modify the analysis of the facility's effects on the environment and health;
