Prior or acquired rights

The right, under certain conditions, to allow a non-classified facility to continue operating without having to go through the procedures associated with legislation on classified facilities for environmental protection (declaration, registration, authorization).

ICPE nomenclature

Catalog of activities covered by legislation on classified facilities, by heading, to determine the facility's classification status.

Classification system

Administrative regime that determines the procedure applicable to the commissioning of a classified facility. There are 5 classification regimes: declaration (D), declaration with periodic inspection (DC), registration (E), authorization (A) and authorization with servitudes (AS).
