7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't forget to check the validity of all documents relating to the conformity of the treatment system.

Just because you have once requested documents relating to the conformity of the treatment process does not mean that these same documents will still be valid some time later. Some documents (such as the waste transport declaration receipt) have a validity period. You need to keep an eye on the expiry dates of these documents, and renew your request to obtain an updated document from a service provider.
