4. Our advice

4.1 Follow the submission of your project certificate application

The prefect must issue the project certificate within two months of acknowledging receipt of your application. However, current legislation does not specify a specific timeframe or form for issuing this acknowledgement of receipt.

It is therefore important to provide proof of the date of submission of your application (by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt, or by hand-delivery to the prefecture against receipt). Don't hesitate to send an e-mail or a letter, for example eight days later, to obtain confirmation that your application has been processed.
