2. Identify public information obligations

A distinction must be made between two situations:

  • Environmental information relating to your facility must be made available to the public on a voluntary basis: this is known as public disclosure, and takes place when your facility is registered.

  • The public takes the initiative in requesting access to environmental information about your facility: this is the information request, which can be made at any time during the operation of your facility.

2.1 Public dissemination of environmental information about your facility

The public release will focus on the prefectoral order granting or refusing registration.
