4.1 Be on the lookout before you submit an authorization application

When planning to set up a new facility for which the registration threshold has not yet been published, make sure that the regulations have not changed. To do this, you can consult the publications of the Conseil supérieur des installations classées.

This anticipatory watch can make it possible to postpone the process of setting up a new facility, and thus benefit from the registration system, which is less time-consuming and less costly than the authorization system.
