2. Draw up a plant life file

As soon as the declaration file has been sent, the operator begins to draw up the plant's "life file", which will be kept up to date and will be subject to periodic inspection. This file includes at least the declaration file, the up-to-date plans, the declaration receipt, the prefectoral decrees relating to the installation concerned and the applicable general prescriptions decrees (see the difference between standard decrees and general prescriptions decrees in the "glossary" section).
