4. Our advice

4.1 Take part in the public inquiry during the PPRN preparation process

The prefect submits the draft plan to a public inquiry. We recommend that you consult the file available to the public at the town hall, and meet the investigating commissioner to ask questions or draw his attention to your situation as an ICPE operator. You can then draw up written observations on which the investigating commissioner will issue an opinion. The aim is to assert your position in the face of excessive constraints that would paralyze your business activity, or constraints that would be contradictory to the prescriptions imposed under the ICPE regulations.
