2. How to use the BASOL database

2.1 Research

This tool enables you to search for potentially polluted sites or soils according to various selection criteria.

• By location: you can make a cartographic selection, i.e. by region, department or commune.

• By site: if you know the name of the site, you can search for it directly.

• By site status, i.e. by type of action taken (secured or to be diagnosed, under evaluation, under construction, treated with monitoring and/or use restrictions, treated and free of all restrictions).

• By type of pollutant: metals, pesticides, PAHs, PCBs, halogenated and non-halogenated solvents, BTEX, etc.
