 INTRODUCTION

You want to implement a user analysis approach to define the interaction parameters between the user and the system to be developed.

Every system is designed for a user: a procedure will be followed by operators, a service will be used by a group of users, and of course a product is designed for someone. Testing a system with a panel of users resolves one of the difficulties of system design: the designer is never representative of his target.

The aim of this fact sheet is therefore to enable the reader to understand the motivations for setting up a user group and integrating it into the design process. We will detail the steps involved, as well as the benefits of this use-centered innovation method.
