7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Do not increase temperature and pressure

Don't think that increasing pressure or penetration will improve the strength of your weld. On the contrary, all experience shows that pressure should remain between 2.5 and 3.5 bar. This applies to all welding technologies (even manual).

7.2 Don't overheat materials, as this will damage them

If you combine high temperature (without degrading the material) and high pressure, the welding resistance decreases.
