4. Our advice

4.1 Simplify!

Define table update rules with your teams. For example: task managers should be able to update tables themselves.

Remember that a dashboard is a living thing, and that it needs to be adapted to each project and each project phase. So it's important to regularly question the relevance of the dashboard.

Build your dashboard as you go along. There's no point in using a very elaborate dashboard if the teams don't understand or use it, because of the psychological barriers represented by too much information on the operational management dashboard.
