5. How to choose a vibration welding machine?
There are two types of machine on the market.
low-frequency machines (from 90 to 130 Hz, amplitude from 1 to 3 mm for highly variable production; from 120 to 135 Hz, amplitude from 1 to 2 mm developed for parts from 15 to 150 cm);
high-frequency machines (170 to 260 Hz, amplitude 0.5 to 1 mm, best suited to parts from 150 to 300 cm and over).
5.1 Starting criteria
Choose your machines according to :
the nature and quantity of the materials to be welded;
assembly volume and weld length;
the geometric shape of the weld ;
