4. Remove obstacles to cultural change

4.1 Language

Language is a classic obstacle in multicultural companies. English is the most commonly used language. To facilitate information sharing, the following are necessary or useful:

• the existence of local-language community(ies);

• creation of multilingual metadata thesauri, creation of summaries... ;

• instant message translation; some platforms are developing this type of function (e.g. Microsoft's social network, Yammer).
