1. REX yes, but to capitalize on what?

1.1 The important thing is to capitalize on the progress of an activity in the specific context of the project.

In fact, it makes no sense to compile an REX on house construction times by recording the completion times for earthworks, structural work, finishing work and fittings, without taking into account the context in which the project is taking place. These values will become more meaningful if we explain that :

  • as the house is located in the suburbs of London, we had 50% rain throughout the construction period;

  • When we dug, we discovered a very different soil than we had imagined;

  • archaeological remains were found, leading to further investigations and a request...
