6. Develop the business model (business plan and business case) and manage the project portfolio

Within your organization's project portfolio, projects are evaluated on the basis of strategic criteria. In this way, management can determine which projects are most beneficial, and can mobilize the appropriate resources for these projects. In the case of commercial projects, the criteria are set out in a business plan or business case, which defines the project with a medium-term horizon (between 3 and 5 years). As a general rule, they are implemented step by step in the product and project life cycle.
