Public procurement: identifying the players

Public procurement law involves several players.

• For the purchaser: contracting authority, contracting entity, consortium, tendering committee.

• For the operator: public or private economic operator, joint or several grouping, subcontractor.

• For legality control: prefect and prefectural department in charge of legality control, partners.

• Out-of-court dispute settlement bodies: out-of-court dispute settlement advisory committees.
