2. Search your customer's or company's "toolbox" of internal methods to see if standards already exist that apply to your study.

The test methods do not exist in the public domain, but one or other (supplier or customer) already has test methods applicable to the assessment of project completion.

In this case, it is often sufficient to ensure that these methods are drafted with sufficient impartiality to provide the most objective response possible to the evaluation of results. This agreement in principle between supplier and customer should be formalized as early as possible in the project. It is pointless, even harmful, not to use the tools that will be used for the final evaluation as soon as possible (except, of course, when such an evaluation can only be carried out once the project has been completed).
