5. Supporting change and better controlling the risks associated with it
The risk identification and management process is broken down into six successive phases, involving :
carry out an initial inventory of stakeholders and impacts once the project has been decided, but before it is launched and stakeholders mobilized;
complete the inventory of stakeholders and impacts as far as possible during the project launch and mobilization phase;
amend, if necessary, the list of stakeholders and impacts during the implementation period, as the detailed definition of deliverables becomes available; for each impact, finalize the descriptions of the initial and final states, so as to anticipate the required changes in methods and behaviors;
