5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't underestimate the powers to be attributed to each function

If you don't give project managers formal responsibility, they won't be recognized. The functional manager (often hierarchical) will then have the upper hand. From then on, operations will fall back into silos, with a lack of communication and a risk of poor interface management. In fact, it will not be carried out in the collective interest, which is also that of the project, and therefore of the customer.
