4. Tool presentation
The Cost Summary Report (CSR) is a cost management tool used to monitor cost trends at operational level.
Developed in Excel format, this tool is common to the entire project. It automates data consolidation from work package to sub-program level. It uses the official accounting data of each country (local ERP) and enables consolidation at different levels of detail, based on a single source.
As the tool is to be used in an international context, most of the terms and explanatory diagrams are in English.
In this section, we'll look at the general shape of the tool, and the various parts that make it up. We will then describe the information update process.
