5. Using the results of a SWOT analysis

Once the SWOT analysis has been carried out, the elements identified and retained are summarized in the SWOT matrix.

The next step is to devise solutions that reduce the negative aspects and reinforce the positive ones. We then need to build a strategy or action plan that incorporates these solutions, or modify the pre-existing strategy or action plan if it has not already taken these solutions into account.

This phase involves a combination of risk management methods, internal control tools and creative methods.

In concrete terms, you'll need to find the right answers and solutions to the following nine questions.

  • Q1: How to maximize forces?

  • Q2: How can I minimize weaknesses?

  • Q3: How to maximize opportunities?...
