2.1 Why use a SWOT analysis?

SWOT analysis structures analysis and reflection around an existing situation or planned change, to help define a development strategy for this situation and define or verify the relevance of an action plan.

SWOT analysis allows you to :

  • structure and organize analysis and reflection around the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, both internal and external, of a situation or change, thus reducing the likelihood of overlooking a relevant element;
