5. Gathering critical information

What tools will enable the monitoring department to collect and exploit strategic information? Once the monitoring project has been well defined using the various methods studied in the first chapters, it seems vital that the organization, at some point, acquires professional solutions to automate these monitoring tasks.

Some Generation 2.0 tools are "free", as they don't require the purchase of software or an annual license.
