4. Column arithmetic mean (MAC) pairwise comparison method

  • Sum the matrix comparisons over the columns.

  • Take the inverse of these results (note that this step differs from the MAL method).

  • Normalize the result vector.

This vector is a second approximation of the weights, which differs from the first in the case of an inconsistent matrix. This second result is also sufficient.
