1. How can you check that your software is weighting correctly?
Let's assume that the result of the weighting between 3 alternatives, denoted e i , is known in advance: e 1 = 10%, e 2 = 30%, e 3 = 60%, totaling 100% importance.
The basic cross-sorting methods found in some textbooks recommend filling in an upper half matrix (table), with the rows and columns corresponding to the alternatives, putting in each matrix cell :
the most important element in the pair of alternatives ( e line , e column ) ;
accompanied by a number 0, 1, 2 or 3 according to the degree of superiority...
