2. Building your tree structure

2.1 The difference between a standby plan and a filing plan

Depending on your monitoring solution and your capitalization objectives (or not), you will have :

  • a monitoring plan and, if necessary, a filing plan,

  • a filing plan, which will also be your monitoring plan.

The monitoring plan refers to the tree structure you'll set up to monitor your sources, the websites that fall within the scope of your monitoring. Depending on your monitoring solution, it can sometimes be radically different from your classification plan.
